This is a 1:1 scale hypothetical reconstruction of the Forum of Constantine. Located in the center of Constantinople, it was dedicated in 330 A.D by the Roman Emperor Constantine and was the central point of the Mese. The forum included several antique statues, a senate house, a nymphaeum and at it's center a large column which was topped by a colossal statue of Constantine, rendered as the sun god Sol Invictus.
The Forum was destroyed in the Sack of Constantinople during the 4th Crusade in 1204, and only the heavily damaged column remains today in Istanbul.
This forum is a part of my Constantinople - 600 A.D project which may never be finished due to the scale of the work involved.

As my Constantinople project has advanced further over the last few months, I've decided to update my public version of the Forum of Constantine to fit more with my new building techniques and to generally make it more accurate.
List of Changes:
-All pre existed statues including the statue of Constantine on top of the column, the Athena Parthenos and Helena have been completely rebuilt from scratch in order to create better proportions, detail and accuracy.
-The Forums external facade has been redone in order to provide more detail and accuracy than the old stone brick wall from the last version.
-Shops have been given more detail.
-The Senate house has had it's exterior and interior updated by the addition of better materials and more details.
-I've also added some secrets for those adventurous enough to find them.
I've added new screenshots and a new McEdit schematic to represent the changes.
