the drake's descent is a sophisticated steampunk airship built in the height of the steam era. large fans mounted to the masts propel air upwards into the sails to generate lift while the side mounted piston powered motors provide propulsion. it trades traditional deck mounted cannons in place of twin lava blasters with increased range and the ability wreak fiery havoc on its foes far worse than any cannonball. the smaller crafts also in flight, launch from the lower stern of the vessel to provide scouting, close range defence and general transport too and from the ship.
