Short Description:
In terms of patience, Little Tiles is no joke. Notwithstanding, the potential therein is quite remarkable, and frankly, underestimated. Though it requires you to painstakingly make your own objects from small chunks, it can yield some incredible results with the mastery of diligence and vision.
My latest build (commission) incorporates its elements per request, matched with a modern TP prompted via commission. As with my previous LT structures, 99% of what it contains are custom made with the help of an incredible amount of patience and commitment.
Though the primary framework was to build a single shipping container, I decided to go for a stacked approach with a modern interior. The inner constituents are neatly marched with the extremities of light and dark colors, deliberately interrupted by wood variants to create the illusion of displacement on flat surfaces, coupled with a dimensional aspect that compliments the polychrome nature of the overall theme.
Externally, the build conveys a peaceful atmosphere that hints towards a calm and meditative nature with convincing bamboos, yoga mat, pool, and mellow aroma airing its tranquility (sounds like weed, damn). As always, for some diabolical reason, I added a dark blotch of mystery on the grassy backdrop of the build to furnish a sense of wonder and contemplation. In terms of function, I made all chairs, benches and couches seatable, including the bathtub. The beds are also geared up to use as an actual place to rest, with selective doors on sliders. Overall, I think the build maintains a sweet spot between minimalism and traditional, interrupted so to speak, by a brutalist element that compliments the refined appearance of an otherwise rustic container, which was the prevalent choice initially, but change mid-construction for a cleaner finish. She contains:
