This is a preview of my project and details display

That project will restore many great buildings in Luoyang more than 1000 years ago, Tang dynasty style, in 2:1. This main city gate is one of them.

This looks great! It reminds me of the Daming gate in Chang'an :-)

And wow you know that! This building was located in Luoyang, the eastern capital of the Tang Dynasty. It is very similar to the Danfeng gate (the gate of Daming Palace). The form of unfinished part of this gate(in my MC project) is the same as Hanyuan Hall (the main hall of Daming Palace), which adopts the architectural form of three que of the Emperor. And they are of the same period (Sui and Tang Dynasties). The Daming Palace in Chang'an and the Ziwei palace in Luoyang are both great palaces in the world history. I'm glad that someone on PMC knows about them.

I have a soft spot of ancient Chinese architecture :-). The Daming palace of the Tang dynasty has always fascinated me. It's such a pity so little is left of it. Perhaps a bit controversial, but I prefer this palace over the forbidden city. Something about the Tang palaces just perfectly reflects the power of the Tang empire. I'm definitely looking forward to future projects of yours! Any future projects like this you have planned?

As a Chinese, I have to say though the Forbidden City is also great, there is no way to compare its scale with the palaces of the Qin, Han, Sui and Tang Dynasties. Limited by the reduction of timber, financial resources and social environment, the scale of Chinese palaces has been shrinking. Of course, the construction technology and materials in Ming and Qing dynasties have certainly improved, but they are not as grand as those in Tang Dynasty. Your point of view is the same as that of most of us in China. The Daming Palace is mentioned in our history textbook. The Tang Dynasty (mainly the early and prosperous Tang Dynasty period) is also praised and loved by many Chinese people, just as the Roman Empire is to the West and the Abbasid Dynasty is to the Islamic world. I went to Xi'an and Luoyang for a tour just a few weeks ago, and I specially went to the site of Daming Palace. Although there is only flat land left, I still feel great about the remaining building foundations and the stories that happened on that land
By the way, since you like Chinese architecture, I recommend the MC Chang'an project that is being restored by the Chinese teams. Although it is only a small part of Chang'an City, the quality of the work is already very high.↓

My future plan(short-term) is to restore Qianyuan gate, Mingtang(Hall of Bright) and Tiantang(Hall of Heaven) of Ziwei palace in Luoyang. Although the project of Tang dynasty's Luoyang City has been built in MC 7 years ago, the “technique” was not mature at that time. I will make a more detailed version of Luoyang's buildings. As for the more long-term, I will still build the Tang Dynasty style architectures in MC, and it may be more grand and unrestrained

Oh i've seen this! I've been following InnovaCreation's work for a few months now. They have one of the most impressive recreations of Chinese architecture in Minecraft, it's insane. I never knew they had this trailer though! I often get lost in the website and info since I cannot read or speak Chinese... (I hope to learn it one day!). Do they have any server we can join to explore their builds? Good luck with the projects! The Ziwei palace looks tricky to build, wow! I haven't seen many imperial Chinese structures that combine circular builds with the more traditional shapes that intensly! Interesting.

HAHA, InnovaCreation is actually a normal level big team in China, in Chinese architecture. I like many of their works. However, the architectures of Chang'an project are mostly built by the teams Taixue (Ming Chengjing union Taixue)(明城京联合太学). And, teams like national architects(国建、国家建筑师、cthuwork), epicwork(epicwork or 史诗工坊), linscraft(linscraft or 林氏创意)、NLT(nameless tag)and many other teams and players have built many great works in Chinese architecture. You can search their names in baidu.com or bilibili.com,or planetminecraft.

Although our team GNwork https://www.planetminecraft.com/member/gnwork/
does not mainly focus on ancient buildings, we have built and we will build many ancient Chinese style buildings and modern style buildings. You can also subscribe to us haha.

If you don't mind, I can recommend some top Chinese architectural works in China's MC forum/video websites. Each of them is a boutique, but these MC works are really unknown outside China. I will send you the link in the message.
