This is my first attempt at a Roman Bireme! I think I did a solid job! I have noticed that alot of Bi and Trireme builds have all their oars on the same level, however, the name Bi and Trireme mean that the oars are on 2 or 3 levels. I did my best to make 2 rows of oars here and make it a real Bireme. Additionally it has a war tower built on it for troops to engage the enemy from up high, as Bi and Triremes did!

Additionally, I built this ship in what is going to be the Harbor of my Greco-Roman City, and what I have done on the city is included in this build!

Also, I am still trying to form a small team of builders to do historic themed builds, and in particular Roman themed builds, although I am up for any ancient history type builds. Here is my recruitment thread if anyone is interested! www.planetminecraft.com/forums/small-historical-build-team-t350192.html so if you might be interested, send me a PM!!!

I just used the default texture pack for this build

That is a mean looking bireme! Can I put it to sail on my Portus map? It would look great in those waters.

Absolutely! You've got a great start on it and I'm excited to see how it turns out!

The sail is really well done. They're hard to make to look real!
