Its a working heart rate monitor, complete with the little beep at the peak wavepoint. Turn it on with the on/off switch on the side. You can adjust the speed with the repeaters. When you load up the map, you may have to reset the beacons. To do this, I've provided a reset button on the back. Be sure to turn the machine off when you reset it. There may be a few extra surprises on the map download.
