Welcome back to another Aeroteam build!
In today’s build, Worrelles shows off his truck-and-log-cabin-building chops with this 1,5:1-scale Chevy C70. The C70, or Kodiak, is powered by a 10.4 L turbodiesel V8 putting power through a five-speed manual with a four-speed splitter (that’s 20 speeds, which is more than on this writer’s pushbike). All crammed under the sheet metal of a regular Chevy pick-up, the result is the kind of lumbering behemoth you’d see belching partially-combusted diesel as it drags a portable along a Tennessee interstate.
All of this proud American engineering, of course, is not to detract from its cargo. Log cabins are a Worrelles trademark, so the choice of payload for this vehicle was obvious. This might only be half a cabin, but it’s a very nice one, with comfy chairs and a fireplace inside. Having been cleft in twain, the exposed room is protected by a big plastic sheet that must’ve taken a while to make look good.
