You've known the pain of creating rails from precious iron. Iron you could be using for something else. But now, you can craft wooden rails. Crafting recipe:

WSW S = Stick : W = Wood

IMPORTANT: IF IT DOES NOT WORK FOR YOU, BE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT RECIPE!!

Because the traditional rail pattern is already taken by the ladder.

How is this mod have any point? The only point I see in it is that it's kinda like cheating in survival in the sense that it just makes making rails easier

I think it's a good idea, but I think they should only be able to be run over a certain number of times. The reason iron is used in train tracks is to reinforce them against the weight of the train, or in this case, the minecart.
