There once lived a princess in a distant kingdom, she was pregnant and meant to be in wedlock with a prince of another kingdom. But, she did not love this prince for he was ugly and rude, and a simple slob...

But the princesses parents seen this as an opportunity, as the prince was the rightful heir to the throne of his kingdom, this kingdom was of much wealth in bartering fine silks and exotic weapons, the king and queen saw this as an opportunity to expand on their own kingdom and amass much needed wealth and gain their peoples approval...

So they decided to have their only daughter marry the wealthy prince, but they reminded her daily "My princess, if you dare folly this wedlock, we shall curse you of any children you shall birth and shun you for eternity"...

Despite the warning, the princess was secretly seeing a suitor at the highest rise of the moon, a handsome man that she did so love, who she truly wanted to marry. She did not care what her parents said or thought, she wanted to be happy...

That is, until her parents finally caught the two lovers. The king and queen screamed for the guards, a fury equivalent to a giant. Quickly and violently, the lovers were torn from their warm beds, and out into the bone shivering cold night, naked...

They were dragged and pulled to the gallows, where the two lovers split apart. The princess to be hung, and the lover to the guillotine. The guards jabbed the man in the back of his knees, dropping him to the ground where his head laid above a bucket, and a gleaming blade above him...

A tight rope was wrapped around the neck of the princess, as she hopelessly gazed at her lover. Her parents crying and angry knowing they have lost what could have been, were shouting curses upon her...

In desperation, the princess shouted out her secret. "I'm pregnant"! This hushed the courtyard, the guards looked in her direction with silence, and the parents began smiling and laughing, "Oh daughter, you may have bore us a son to be the new heir to the throne"!

The princess thought in her mind she had saved her lover, that he will be spared. Her parents quicky silenced, they stared at her as if they were looking straight past her. In two words they said, "Execute him". The princess screamed, "NO"! And within in a blink of an eye, the blade dropped through her lovers neck with a sickening "Shluck".

Blood pulsed from the decapitated body and flinched, the parents grabbed the cut head to be brought to the princess where they forced her to look. His eyes still blinking and moving as his mouth tried to speak, they said in a sinister fashion "You are saved, only because you bear a child...once you have birthed this child...you will be next...in an unmarked grave". And they both spat on her...

The guards dragged the crying princess to the dungeon, where she was held until the day she birthed her child. On the day she bore her newborn son, the nurses screamed. What should have been a child appeared to be a skinny man, with lopsided eyes and ears, looking malnourished and bony...

Weak and losing blood, the princess quickly snatched her Strange child from the nurses and swiftly escaped the kingdom. She fled into the dark forests where all are forbidden to go, the fleeing and blood loss from birth left the princess weak, too weak. She collapsed, dropping her child, and soon died...

The child, looked at her strangely and licked his lips...and began to eat...
