Nearly 41 years ago, one game disappointment countless children. Howard Scott Warshaw was tasked with creating a movie-game tie-in with a strict 5-week deadline and gave us E.T. on Atari 2600 (VCS). Countless children asked for refunds after playing the game and it was so universally hated that it is often blamed for the infamous video game crash of 1983. In fact, many still consider it to be the worst game in existence. (Not unlike how this chicken is compared to my other skins.)

But today, you can show the disgraced alien critter some love. Bring E.T. into the warmth of your home for the holidays and show him that despite spawning a less-than-ideal game, he can still bring joy.
