the winter solstice is coming up fast!! (aaaaaaaa)

this is a great time of increased magic in the year, so if you’ve dabbled in spell crafts definitely make some magic on December 21!
i personally prefer baking at this time of year since everything is dead lol, but anything can happen especially if you have houseplants (for green witches).

Quick rant. Art theft is real. Credit your sources. We all make mistakes here and there, but doing it intentionally is just an abuse of the work of others. Don't steal builds, skins, etc.

this post is a very different vibe from my normal posts, but i think it’s necessary. please read if you have the time <3

people need to realise that being lgbtq+ is not a choice, and not something to be argued about. sure, you can have your opinion on whether we deserve basic human rights or not (we do), but arguing about whether lgbtq+ people actually exist is a whole different matter.
loads of my friends are muslim. i am not. we have are differences, but we are still human, and perfectly capable of friendship. i don’t follow the same religion and faith as them, hell i don’t even follow a religion. but that doesn’t make any of them wrong, invalid, or ‘weird’ in the slightest. it doesn’t make islam something to be debated. it doesnt, or shouldn’t, mean any of my friends are perfectly acceptable to make fun of or hate. and i’m sure you’ll agree.
and not a single one of my friends has tried to ‘push their ideas’ on anyone or ‘convert’ anybody.

now, i’m not comparing them, i’m not trying to disrespect anyone, but apply that exact argument to the lgbtq+ community.
and to debunk some arguments: yes there are many ways to be lgbtq+. and none of them are wrong. there are many branches of lgbtq+, just like there are many branches of anything. no we’re not trying to change you, or your children, speaking of, drag shows are not places for children, and often have age requirements or recommendations. it’s the parent’s fault if their 7 year old kid goes to a drag show. and no, it’s not a lot of letters. you managed to memorise the whole alphabet, and 150 000 words, and - for some - multiple languages. it’s just not that hard.

this message has kind of gone off on a tangent, but the main idea is still there. to any mods who might see this, feel free to take it down.

I saw a post about this earlier and it reminded me of something I've been meaning to say.

I've seen a lot of people self-diagnose themselves with "mental illnesses" or get diagnosed by some random online test. I just wanted to point out something. Stop diagnosing yourself, or trusting random tests. Tons of people have actual mental illnesses that make their life way harder and they have to work through it all. So when you take a random test or show symptoms of a certain illness (Autism, ADHD, OCD, etc.) don't assume you have it, or what's worse is to dramatize it. There's a difference between having ADHD and just not being able to behave. When you do dramatize things it's belittling other people's actual struggles. Even professional diagnoses can be dramatized by the patient.

Not only that, but there have been people who take a test that says they have depression, and that normal and happy person starts to get sadder. It may sound weird but just believing you have something can make you act like you do. Without you even realizing it.

This is not directed at anyone so please don't be offended. I'm posting this to respect people who have actual mental difficulties. No, I haven't been diagnosed with any (other than insanity lol), this was just on my mind.
