FAQs

Why can't I publish for the group?

Reasons you can't publish for the group
Reason 1. The most likely reason, is that you're missing the "Creators" role. To get this roll, just ask an admin or the owner for this role, and it will be granted to you.

Reason 2. If you have been assigned the role of Creators in the past, but can no longer create, this is most likely because your role has been revoked, you've been punished, or banned.

How to create:

Skins
How do you create a good skin? Learn here! Follow the steps below

  1. Go to the PMC Skin editor
  2. Create a base for your skin. (Create a very basic model of your skin)
  3. Add some detail to the skin. Keep adding detail until it looks how you want it to. How do you create detail? Color the skin. Lighten or darken places that need different colors. Also, use varieties of color, not just 2 or 3.
  4. Publish your skin one you're happy with its looks!
Texture Packs.
How do you create texture packs?

BEDROCK: To create bedrock texture packs, you will need to use a website to create the packs and automatically upload them to your game, or you will need to access the games code.
A good website for this job - https://minecraft.novaskin.me/resourcepacks

JAVA:To create a texture pack for java, you will need to use a base-file.

  1. Download the base-file for the version you need here: https://texture-packs.com/resourcepack/default-pack/
  2. Once you have the base-file- go to the file and follow these steps: Assets - Minecraft - Textures. Next, select the file of which textures you want to edit.
  3. Take the PNG images of the files you want to edit, (the pictures of the textures) and go to a pixel editor to edit these files into whatever you want them to look like! This is a good pixel editor website you can use for the job: https://www.piskelapp.com/p/create/sprite
  4. Once you have finished editing your textures, go back to the file where you originally got the pictures from. (Where you got the texture images from step 2) Replace the textures in the file with the ones you edited. NOTICE! Make sure the texture PNG image your replacing with, has the 100% same name as the file you replaced. If it doesn't have the same name the textures will NOT work!
  5. Take your textures file, and compress it into a Zip File.
  6. Go use your texture pack in-game! (equipped the texture pack in game, as you would any other texture pack.)
That's how to create texture packs!
    Resource Pack
A Resource Pack really has no correct way to create it. It can do many things. Remodel, resize, add abilities, remove abilities, and MUCH more. Their is not a way to explain all of them in one way, being as all these ways to make a resource pack and many more are all different.
So, Depending on what KIND of Resource Pack you want to make, look up a YouTube video on that type of Resource Pack. The variety of Resource Packs you can make are doubled in amounts, depending on what version of Minecraft you use.

      Map
How to create a map. To create a map, the first step is to choose what to make. Being as you're the creator of the map, it can be about ANYTHING you wany. Adventure, Action, PVP, Fighting, Building, Ect.

Once you have chosen a type of map to make, make sure you detail the surroundings in it. Put time and effort into detailing the map.

Next, depending on what type of map you made, add all the elements needed to make it. Commands, Texture/Resource/Mod Packs, Builds, Designs, Ect.
