We all miss the old days of Minecraft servers.
The old PVE servers, or the old SMPS. And let's be honest, we have all tried playing those versions. The old limitations just don't feel right. You have two choices. Relive the old days and miss out on all the new potential the game holds, or miss out on that authentic server feel, and keep all your new blocks and new plugins.

Through some effort, we have reverse engineered what makes the game feel that way. The challenge of the night, intrigue, and the meaning of death. Each night limiting you to your own home. Waiting it out. True fear when cornered by mobs. Finding a structure for the first time, or the novelty behind the epic terrain. This was what Minecraft was, and what it can be again.

We have made mobs dynamically level up with the player. For each day you live, you grow stronger. And the mobs do to. Your bed will no longer skip the night. And no matter what, no matter how you try, when you die, you will respawn at world spawn. Each time you die, you'll have to make the perilous journey back to your base. Coupled with server wide stunted progression, and custom terrain, items, and maps, we have brought the nuance back to Minecraft.
