Chapter One



A boy of about sixteen years old sat eating soggy cereal at a small round table. Whether he stopped eating because of the milk he spilled on himself or of his day dreaming was unknown. He wasn’t thinking about the cereal. He was thinking about everything that had happened in the last few years. He stuffed the spoon into the bowl and pushed it away.

Eating with his left hand sucked. He had been born left-handed, but, because of something stupid he did when he was seven, he hadn’t used it for years. Now he had to re-learn how to use it all over again

He continued to sit there, sulking. No he wasn’t sulking… Actually, he was. Oh well, he couldn’t be optimistic all of the time.
