This datapack collection allows you to seamlessly transition between the game's various dimensions .
Two downloads are provided, one will allow seamless travel between the overworld and the end,
and the other will allow seamless travel between the overworld and the nether. They are named accordingly.
When travelling between the overworld and the nether, you will be granted 7 seconds of resistance 5, giving you time to break surrounding blocks so that you don't suffocate. Additionally, when going from the nether to the overworld, you are granted 7 seconds of levitation, giving you time to find proper footing (you will also gain levitation when travelling to the end, so that you don't immediately fall back to the overworld)
Warning: this datapack replaces the bedrock floor as well as the bedrock ceiling in the nether with obsidian, anything built on the nether ceiling will be destroyed. Also, this pack may not work well on slow computers.

i tried using your ingenious datapack with incendium on a paper 1.16.5 world with a nether that wasn't generated yet. i dropped both packs in at the same time, restarted the server, and it looked like it was working (obsidian in the overworld and nether in place of bedrock). I fall into the nether just fine, but when I try to dig my way into the nether from the roof, the top layer of roof blocks just instantly replace themselves after I break them. i cant setblock them either; they wont break. Is this a problem with the two datapacks?
1. Are you standing at the highest point, or are you mining the obsidian from a distance?
2. What gamemode are you in?
3. Do you have any other mods/datapacks installed?
1. im standing on the nether roof, on the block I'm breaking. doesn't work if I break the blocks near me either.
2. I tried it in creative and survival with a diamond pick. both don't work.
3. I have no mods installed except sodium and a few client-side mods. I have climbable chains, William wythers overhauled overworld, William wythers structures add-on, many more biomes, and tropical volcanoes along with incendium and seamless dimensions of course. I do have the gsit, better end, and harbor plugins installed as well.
I loaded a fresh world; no plugins or packs besides yours; not even incendium. I dug down in the overworld to y1, and fell through in creative...only to end up in the same ravine i was just in levitating. I got we need to go deeper advancement but didn't tp to the nether at all. i then tried the same thing in survival, and it did the same exact thing minus the new achievement. I then fired up a nether portal and went into the same exact spot in the nether, thinking if I generated the nether it might work. i then went back into the overworld and went to y1 again, and this time I tped to the nether, just on the nether roof. i cant break any blocks, and if I try to go lower using spectator mode, it tps me back to the overworld.

But it still doesn't break the game progression since you still have to get an elytra to fly up and you still need diamonds to mine the obsidian layer :D
