Pirates spawn in every ocean except frozen oceans and deep frozen oceans. Killing one has a 1/3 chance to drop a Skull Flag, dropping a Skull Flag on a gold block summons the first pirate boss, Ironpatch. Killing Ironpatch drops a Withered Skull Flag and one of 3 custom items. Dropping a Withered Skull Flag on a diamond block summon the second pirate boss, Witherbeard, which drops one of 2 custom items.

Water Golems spawn in every ocean except frozen oceans and deep frozen oceans. Killing one drops Enchanted Stone Brick, which can be dropped on a gold block to summon the Protector of the Ocean, which drops two of 3 items.

Serpents spawn in every ocean except frozen oceans and deep frozen oceans. Killing one drops some Sea Serpent scales and Sea Serpent teeth. The Sea Hunter can be spawned by crafting a Sea Hunter Caller, shown in the image gallery. The Sea Hunter trades Sea Serpent scales and teeth for custom items and emeralds.
