Nether Skippers can spawn in the nether lava sea, they bounce up and down and never stop moving, you can't ride it when it's untamed (when it looks more like a magma block) and colliding with it in that state will send you flying upwards.
Feeding it Warped Fungus will tame it, and then interacting with it again lets you ride it, you can control its direction with a Fungus on a stick.
The Skipper goes under the lava briefly when it lands, which will set you on fire, instead you have to either :
1): dismount mid-air and re-mount the mob every jump (this was originally the intended method but it was stupid)
or 2) Just use fire resistance.
Skippers bounce off of blocks it hits forwards, but immediately dies if it lands on a block that isn't lava, dropping a magma block when it does so.
Skippers move at twice the speed of a max-speed strider, meaning it might still be worth the risk.
(also this is my first time making custom sound effects for a mob, I recorded them and edited it all myself, no idea why I thought this one would be the best time to start doing that.)

P.S. Love the custom sounds! I can make some too if you ever need any.
P.P.S. Abandoned striders with saddles sink into lava and become ghasts that will follow players and attack you, or be tamed with more warped fungus and be rideable/fighters to help you out (Could even make a glowing potion+crimson fungus revert them to normal)
