Horsebox Datapack
Do you ever wish you could carry your favorite Minecraft pet around in your inventory? Now you can! Simply craft any shulker box into a Horsebox, and throw it on the ground at a horse's feet to capture it! When you are ready to ride, throw the box back onto the ground to respawn it into the world.
Horseboxes can be traded between players, placed onto the ground and picked back up, placed into Ender Chests, etc., and the stats of the horse inside will be preserved! This datapack is also fully compatible with my Horse Ownership datapack - meaning that non-owner players will be unable to capture your personal horse if you have both installed.
Horseboxes will display stats of the entity inside, such as speed, jump strength, whether they are equipped with a saddle or armor piece, and whether they are tamed.
Speed and jump strength have been scaled so that they appear as a percentage of the maximum value (i.e. the fastest possible naturally occurring horse will have a speed value of 100%, for example).
To craft a Horsebox, place a Nether Star in the center slot of a Shulker Box and surround it with 8 Hay Bales as shown above, and drop the item on the ground to confirm the recipe. Any other items in the box will be deleted!
If you wish to convert your Horsebox back into a regular Shulker, simply place it into a crafting table and do the recipe it shows you (you will not get your Nether Star back).
Warning: Do NOT allow a hopper or hopper minecart to pull items out of a Horsebox! If this happens, the box will be ruined and the horse inside will be lost.
Feel free to modify, reverse engineer, use in your projects, etc., but please do not redistribute without credit!
If you encounter a bug, please let me know!

Does this work on zombie horses and skeleton horses?
