Level 56 : Grandmaster Crafter

New animal variants have been added to Minecraft in the Spring To Life drop, but the variants introduced in Minecraft Earth have been left out. Until now!

This pack adds every pig, cow, chicken, wolf, and cat variant from Minecraft Earth to Minecraft as variants that can be found in your world, with both adult and baby textures! No OptiFine or CEM required! (Will probably be made optional in the future for improving some models). Some variants have extra drops too (Earth Animals: Extra Drops required)!

This pack is compatible with all of my other mob variant data packs, including Clucking Ducks, which adds a Duck variant for chickens, inspired by Minecraft Dungeons!

"Spawn Egg" textures can be obtained in survival with the Easter Eggs resource pack!

All vanilla variants of animals can still be found where they can be found normally.

Operator Commands:

– Give yourself a Chicken variant Egg

/function earth_animals:give_{insert animal variant}_spawn_egg
– Give yourself a Spawn Egg for a variant

If playing with world generation data packs:

This data pack changes the Mushroom Fields biome to spawn Cluckshrooms (chickens). If using another data pack that modifies worldgen (particularly the Mushroom Fields biome), make sure that that data pack is loaded ABOVE Earth Animals before generating the world in order to get that data pack's custom mushroom fields generation.

The babies will have eyes that are consistent with what is established in vanilla. The next update is set for the release of 26.1.

I really want to play your datapack but cannot find any associated resource pack anywhere, even on the Modrinth app. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have Recently made the magma cow, a mossy sheep and own a Zombie/Undead Rabbit file, i think i have a violet rabbit, i do know i have a mooboom and a hyper rabbit and Orama put the textures for the ice zombie and wooly wolf on there pages for free to use, would you like any of these?

Oh perhaps. The problem is that unless I choose to make some things OptiFine/CEM only, I can only work with the mobs that have data-driven variants. Magma Cow, Mooboom, and Wooly Wolf (Woolf?) do fall within that, although they would have to be adapted to the available models (shouldn't be too difficult for those cows) and I would need to choose a reasonable place that they can be found naturally.
