This is a base datapack for adding your own custom ores into Minecraft. You can customize and edit it to fit your needs.
How it works: after breaking a stone block, there is a chance that your custom ore will spawn adjacent to the block if all requirements are met, only works on stone blocks that aren't player placed.
Once downloaded, instructions are in the datapack's folder, and you will need to extract the datapack to access it.

In the spawncustomorechance.json loot table file, edit the weight value for air (there will be an item entry for air and a weight value corresponding to it that is right above the air name declaration). The higher the weight is, the rarer it is. Basically, changing the weight values around of both will edit the spawn chance, for example if air weight is 1 and fern weight is 1, there is 1/2 chance for fern, and if air is 2 and fern is 1, there is a 1/3 chance for fern.

how the system works is when you break a stone block it will detect and replace nearby blocks, so try breaking stone blocks(while in survival or any mode where it actually drops)

In the stone.json file, do I have to change the "name": "minecraft:fern" ?
Does the fern need to be something else or not?
