A collection with original uploads of skins that I've found stolen at least once. Gathering them here for future reference & skin thief reporting. Please comment with links to any skins you think should be in this collection.
Here's a little guide so you guys can help out with some reporting in the future, if you care to. 😁 Because credits for original creators = nice and theft is not cool. Please save this collection for future reference. 💗
How to spot, trace & report a stolen skin
Red flags that raise suspicion of skin theft:
Level 1 members and otherwise inactive profiles posting a sudden awesome skin
A member's gallery having a mix of different "quality" and style skins, that are unlikely to have been made by the same person
Skins missing rows of pixels on the arms because the original was made in Alex format but it's posted as a Steve
How to trace (doesn't always work, but is often effective):
Go to the "Player Skins" section of Planet Minecraft
Search for the character/title/description of the suspected stolen skin in the search bar, you might have to try variations
Sort by "best" and scroll through the first few pages to see if the original is there
Optional: be nice and give the original a diamond if you managed to find it 😁
To report:
Copy the link to the original submission to provide proof to the PMC site moderators that the skin is in fact stolen
Go to the stolen skin's submission page, click the dot dot dot and click report 🏴
Select reason: "Copyright Issue" in the drop-down menu and paste the link to the original submission in your report description
If somebody's gallery is filled with stolen skins, you could consider reporting the entire profile on top of reporting the individual skins that you can prove have been stolen. Please remember to:
Not write mean comments to skin thieves or publicly shame them. Just report only 👍 someone might not be familiar with the rules
Confirm that a skin is actually stolen before reporting it by finding the original submission. Suspicion alone isn't enough.
Read a skin's description before reporting to see if the original creator maybe gave permission for a reuse/repost.
It's against the rules of Planet Minecraft to submit skins that you didn't make by yourself
This includes remixes of other people's skins, like combining the outfit of skin A with the head of skin B or recolors or adjustments, like changing the hairstyle or slightly altering a few details
aye spammy single-color or scribble skins break the rules as well same goes for posting dozens of recolors of the same skins definitely useful to report those too! 😁

I don't think it's a nightmare, though 😁
