CONTEXT

I'm still going through my 2 week Minecraft phase even though it's been more than 2 weeks aha~

I came back for the cherry blossom grove, and the cherry blossom grove alone. Gone are the days I would install Biomes O' Plenty just to live amongst my favourite flowers. I used this seed below that gives you a cherry grove crater on a big hill with a lake in the centre of the crater. Although that's the main appeal whenever it gets posted online, I also found a HUGE swamp nearby with a tiny plains biome inside it. Said plain has a big village that extends into the swamp! Also two witch huts and a whole bunch of mossy cobblestone in the nearby old taiga growth biome.

Anyway I designed a few buildings and translated the duo townhouses into Minecraft. Uhh. I already went from using Forge 20.4 to Forge 20.1 since that's where most of the mods I wanted to use were. So no Minecraft pics of that world- but that's okay because I drew the designs first.


With Mizuno's 16Craft resource pack, the villagers become assorted fuzzy creatures ♡♡! Just like Sylvanian Families! As much as I love vanilla villagers, these are too precious not to keep for my next world.

okay here's the actual prelude.

I wanna make a mushroom biome village. Or perhaps a dark oak biome mushroom village. Idk, the natural grass colour in the mushroom biome is cute and bright, but changing some of the mycelium to grass would be a bit of a chore.

This village I'm envisioning is inspired by lots of different mushrooms, not just the standard spotted toadstool and manky brown ones you get in vanilla Minecraft. (I'm grateful for the variety added in the Nether. On that note, I'll have to invent some fantasy shrooms too I guess).

I'll use a ton of mods! How many do I have installed for this playthrough? I'll get back to you when Minecraft finishes loading my resource packs. (Update: it's 48.)

There's like, a bunch of decorative mods, Mythical Mounts and a few QOL ones that's for sure~

Either way, this is gonna be so cool to explore and flesh out. I just don't know what seed to go with yet! I also have Mystic's Biomes to consider too. Oh well, I'll figure something out.

A new skin is necessary too- I was a cute English Cocker Spaniel matching the cute animal villagers in my previous world. I want something mushroom themed yet unique this time. I'm thinking something based on a Lion's Mane mushroom. It's hairy looking and very meaty when cooked! Would love to try one IRL.
