this is just a tool i made that pulls palettes from your pixel art (up to 256x)
you can download the palette, or copy and paste hex codes for your own use. they're sorted from lightest to darkest!
it probably isn't mobile or msie friendly bc I'm lazy lol

also I made this a blog instead of a wallpost so yall can search it up

    - NEW -
  • "Ghost Pixels", pixels that are mostly transparent and that you may not have meant to draw, will now be detected, and a warning will be shown.
  • Colors are sorted by hue, then lightness (this should make colors sorted more accurately!)
  • You can drag color squares on the image to change their order
  • (Note: It might take a little while until the features roll out to you, the old page is probably stored in your cache. Ctrl+reload might help idk)

Greatly reduced lag!
Also, removed the size limit. Should work on large pixel art, up to 500x500!

(previous update doesn't seem to have gone through?)

This will definitely be helpful in my skin-making, I often find some skins on here or other places just to get their colors to use in a skin I'm making. It's a hassle usually cuz I have to copy and paste certain sections of the skin to the one I'm working on to get the colors I need. With this, I can just copy and paste the palette and use it that way, no additional annoying colors or parts of other skins to worry about.

I don't use exact hex codes too often, so I might not get a lot of use out of this. Good concept though!
