Today, we're talking about Levels. I recently felt the need to explain this to everyone, so sit tight and read this little rant.
DISCRIMINATION:
You can all act that you don't know what I'm talking about, but most of you do. When we see someone with a low level on this site correcting us/a higher level we immediately think: "lol who is this noob". Some people even say it, which by the way won't do anything besides earn you a warning/infraction/ban.
But why do we think this?
It's because of our ignorance, our egos which are even bigger than this site. Not saying everyone does this, but a large amount of people do. Anyhow, doing this is the most irrational thing I can think of.
If you think about it, you will realize that ALL the high leveled users were once level 1, correct? So instead of discriminating people for their level, why don't you give them some support?

IGNORANCE:
Let's face it. I have seen for example redstone devices far superior to some of the devices the popular redstoners make, yet usually no one cares about it. These days there is little room left for new talents. Let me give you an example from real life:
If a seed starts growing between a lot of plants, it won’t grow big. Why? Because there are too many other plants in it's way.
EXPERIENCE:
There are low level users that have been on this site for a lot longer than some high level users. That means that those low level users have more experience with the site. In some cases, someone who is a new user might have an amazing talent for any
MODSHIP:
This is probably the one that irritates me the most.
I have seen countless replies to my submissions and comments on other submissions asking how I am a mod and a low level.
Let me quote something from the good ol' PMC rules:
New moderators are chosen based on their maturity, activity (how much they visit and contribute to the site), whether or not they actively file reports (in the chat room, forums and site) and their personality as a whole.

So, moderators are not promoted for being a high level. And seriously, what's so strange about being a mod and a low level?
There are level 1 site mods with no submissions and I still respect them like I respect any other mod.

So, long version --> short:
Levels don't matter.
