It's dark out, almost midnight. The moon is set high in the sky, casting uncertain light over the meadow you're in. Along with the breeze, something else moved, something bigger. A cat then seemed to appear out of nowhere, and without what looked like a care in the world, struts over to a tree stump. It produces a large assortment of weapons, and then waits. Not much longer later, another cat appears. This one seems to have food. It lays it out in front of the other one. They both look at each other for a moment, and the one with the food digs in. The other cat snatchs the weapons, which catches the food cat's eye. It leaps forward in a attempt to get them back, but never leaves the ground. It simply freezes, and tips to one side. But before you hear the sickening thud you would expect, you jolt forward in your bed, breathing hard. You shake your head a little, trying to clear it, but the dream lingers. You start to wonder whether it might've been a memory, but before you can think too much, you're called down for breakfast. As you eat, you try to see if you can think of the cat's names. The word citrus comes to mind for the weapon cat, but you can't think of the other for the life of you. You sigh, and continue eating. Once you're done, you head back upstairs, and open your computer. You start surfing the web for the cat you thought of. The only thing that appears is a business. It's called falling. You click on it, and a blank screen appears. Two cats, one gray and one orange, suddenly flash through your mind. Then names, credit card numbers, poisons, passwords, faces and finally, the name of the other cat. You step back in surprise. Then the world flashes, once, twice, and suddenly you're in that dream again. But this time you're the one laying down the weapons, and, you realize, the one dying...

Two cats sit in a coffee shop, not too far away from the ocean. The one on the left, a white tom with black stripes keeps making exasperated expressions as the other cat, a gray tom, speaks to him. Finally, after maybe five of these motions, he stands up.
"Blah business blah," he says. "Good grief Cloud, can you speak of anything a little more, I don't know, entertaining!"
Cloud glares at him. "You have something better to say, do you?"
"Anything is better than that, so yes, I do!"
"Then if you don't mind, I'd like to hear it."
Falcon pauses, with some surprise evident in his eyes. "I-I, well... I don't..."
Cloud raises an eyebrow. "I didn't think so. Now, may I continue?"
Falcon reluctantly nods, and takes his seat again. "Better be something good.." he mutters.
Cloud pretends not to hear and starts speaking again.
"Do you remember Citrus?"
He nods.
"She's dead."
He recoils in a mix of shock and horror. "What!? What happened?"
"Poison, they think an assassin."
"But why? Why would someone kill her?"
He shrugs. "Same reason thousands of people die each day."
Falcon lets out a long sigh. "I can't believe it... can't believe she'd fall for something like that."
A look of regret comes over Cloud's face, and Falcon took it as guilt for telling him then.
"Better tell me now then later, right?"
Cloud brightens a little and nods. Then he straightens his back a little, and stands up. "Well Falcon, it was good seeing you. But the business calls again."
Falcon also stands up and smiles a little. "As always. See you, Cloud."
He holds out his paw, and Cloud gladly takes it. They say goodbye again, and depart. That was the last time they saw each other, at least for a long, long time.
