hello all! This is one my largest maps so far at 500x500 blocks lol. The build is of "Horseshoe Curve" just outside of Altoona, PA. Work began on horseshoe curve in 1850, and took over three years. All with just men with pick, shovels, and horses. The total cost for 31.1 miles (50.1 km) of track between Altoona and Johnstown was $2,495,000. During ww2 The Pennsylvania railroad carried troops and supplies over Horseshoe curve, and the curve was under armed guard.

Ground surfaces lack a bit of texturing, I think with a little colour palette mix in the ballast and the grass it would come out even better! The terrain is smooth, like the curve and the lake seems a very nice place!

Yeh. Its not exactly 100% Hardest part was the terrain. I built the tracks on a super flat world, and then made a map for it in world painter, and then copied and pasted the tracks onto the map. Terrain isn't really my strong point, but I am working on it lol

LOVE this build, DW didn't think he could build it and do a good job. (It is his largest build to date) Knew he could. And got it done in record time. Just needed the right push. Sweet build. Outstanding work !
