This is my first resource pack that I'm uploading to Planet Minecraft. This resource pack has the simple aim to change the textures of the new raw metals added in 1.17 with new textures inspired by some of the iterations of raw ores made by JAPPA himself.

it has a bit rougher texture, as they should look smoother like they do in real life.

Are you trying to say it would look better if it was rough or if it was smooth??
