Pigs, Chickens, and Sheep, what do they have in common? that's right! They got retextured/redesigned thanks to JAPPA in 1.14. Cows were also redesigned in that update, but the difference is minimal, and to me, I still look at the cow and think it is horrible, the way the texture connects, the shading, I didn't like that. And then we got the squid, which like the cow was changed in 1.14 but only slightly, but with the new Glow Squid that just came in a snapshot, my friend Daggsy did an epic gamer moment and retextured the normal squid with the Glow Squid design, and it looked fabulous!. So I thought hey what if I do the same, but with the Moobloom...
And here we are!, all cows in the game are now restyled and shaded to appear like the Moobloom style, I think it looks much better and fits the new style of textures nicely too!
(btw, I tried doing the same thing with the Moolip, but it ended up not looking very good so I just settled for a Moobloom version)

I don't think you can find them naturally, you need to strike a Red Mooshroom with lightning
(for example with a channeling trident)
The texture update didn't fix any of the actual issues with the textures...
mobs like cows can be improved by adding a bit to their model too without getting too far out of vanilla style, and even that wont be done because that's not the cow we remember
this is the reason why Red mooshrooms has gray patches still, where as the new versions of cows such as Moobloom (and moolip) and even the brown mooshroom from 1.14, all have unique patches colors to their main color that is just slightly brighter
We can't blame mojang for them wanting to keep the old fanbase happy too, but we sure can make resource packs like this to fix our problems ourselves!
That just seems like laziness to me... Go all the way or don't take the trip!
