It says this texture pack is unavailable for my version, but it comes up for version 1.12.2. I don't get it?

it's meant to be for 1.12.2,not older versions.

It shows up as 'Incompatible' for Minecraft 1.12.2. It's not though. I usually just ignore that anyway - texture packs are usually compatible across versions.
