It's been over a decade.
But does it truly feel that way? Minecraft is what raised many of us. From our first block placed to the last time you closed the launcher.
However, the game has changed. It's to be expected, for after all, isn't change inevitable?
...Perhaps not.
Today, I'm proud to bring you the first edition of 1.8 Converted! After hours of texture sorting, name changing, and file moving, I've converted all of the textures from 1.8 over to 1.19. In addition, many current blocks have also been retextured, to fit with the consistency of 1.8. Please, take a look at the list of changed textures. Please also take the time to look at the contributors of the pack, linked down at the bottom.
-All blocks previously in 1.8
-All items previously in 1.8
-Most entities previously in 1.8
-1.8 loading screen (OptiFine required for ONLY this feature)
-1.8 title screen
-Old sounds (except for music, file size is too big)
-Additional blocks retextured to be consistent with older related blocks
-All beds are red and renamed to "Bed"
-Cod mob and Bucket of Cod retextured and renamed
However, I'm not solely responsible for all of these changes. Please take a look and go download packs from the creators below. I've included their names, packs contributed, and links.
