Zethia, Auspex of the Ilian Church, forges a partial pact with the dragon Bahamut, whose power is so immense that drawing upon it causes her to lose her sight temporarily. Nonetheless, she takes this risk, using his power to protect her world and all of her loved ones, especially her brother.
