Rumour has it that if a golden moon appears on the turn of a century a hero strong enough to kill the evil wizard, in a cave to the north of the kingdom there is a sword that only the hero prophesised will be able to lift and only that sword held by that hero will be able to end the wizards reign of terror. knowing that a hero had likely been born the wizard brings his missing daughters doll Eliza to life and raises her as his own, with the promise that on the day she delivers the hero to him he will give her humanity. eighteen years go by and the promise looms over Eliza's head when one day she meets Fabián a boy the same age as her with eyes the colour of the golden moon eighteen years ago. knowing that Fabián is the promised hero she befriends him, as time goes on the pair develop feelings for each other, Eliza feels conflicted over the wizards promise of humanity and her feelings towards Fabian, knowing that the time will soon come when she must make her decision.
