Meet Frank, the mafia leader of the Sons of Frank. He's an extremely rich man who controls lots of the continent. He's very manipulative and deceiving, and is never willing to give anyone else the time of day. He's also very charismatic and is willing to do just about anything to save his own rear. Frank has a very long history of terrorizing, looting, and slaughtering anyone who he deems to be a problem or concern. He's the fourth generation leader of this mafia and has only grown more powerful since he took over. Frank's main goal in this world is to be the most powerful and get to the top of the charts.
His main rival in this goal is a female elf named Senlin. She owns a port city across the lake from Frank's main base. He has plans on taking down Senlin and her town to have complete control of the lake, however he has never had good encounters with Senlin nor her family in the past. Along with Frank wanting to take down his main rival he also has lots of other competition. Including one of his turned members. One of the members of his mafia The Sons Of Frank turned into a cultist and was disowned by Frank. Adding onto that Frank has more problems coming his way if he wants to control the trade happening in the lake. There's more than two other powerful cities that will put up a fight against Frank if he tries to pull anything.
All in all, Frank is a very ambitious person who won't give in unless faced with a much more powerful force. He might talk a big game but will run away with his tail between his legs if given large amounts of opposition. He'll always send out others to do his dirty work and will never get his hands dirty.
(And a side note, this is the main villain from my dnd campaign, we haven't gotten too far but he's already a very powerful force)
