The man, the soldier
whoever he was he belonged to a different time,
before the hell fire that scorched the world into nuclear winter.
A man frozen in time, capturing the moment he fell silent,
in a time long forgotten. What was life like for him?
In the land that is long gone?
Before ash filled snow began to fall?
Leaving the world frozen from there on.
The man, the soldier long lost in time without identity,
without memory of a man from a land long forgotten.
This is my submission for the Nuclear Winter Skin Contest I hope you enjoy it.
