sakamoto the cat from nichijou. voiced by minoru shirishi in the japanese version. but in the english dub, hes voiced by anthony bowling. hes a middle-aged cat. his original owner was nakamura, and his original name was taisho. he ran away and was adopted by hakase and nano. hakase named him sakamoto, only because the box had the word sakamoto on it. hakase gave him a red scarf so he could communicate with them. hakase often pranks him and never calls him sakamoto-san, like he always wants to be called. hakase also blames sakamoto when she makes a mistake. although, nano, the robot, always respects him as calling him sakamoto-san. she also feeds him and sometimes treats him like a regular house cat.
