Belief in Santa and the North Pole community has been declining for years, and despite continuing to make and deliver toys every year, Santa's Workshop struggled to remain relevant in an increasingly commercial world. In order to regain followers and believers, Santa tasked his marketing department to come up with ways to make his toy making business appeal to larger demographic groups. One of the ideas they came up with was a change in uniform for Workshop employees to make them more appealing to the teen and young adult market. Desperate for any kind of advantage, Santa approved the changes without really understanding what would be involved and was quite surprised when the staff started showing up wearing very "risque" holiday outfits. Needless to say, Mrs. Claus was not amused.
