Professor Pentius Malcom grew old, and as he advanced in age he became increasingly aware that time was not on his side. He longed to be able to continue his scientific studies without the confines of age and time. Using steam, clockwork, and science on the verge of sorcery, he transferred his mind into that of a mechanical-man. He now lives without the stress of age and time, and works without tiring.

Those close to him say that with the transfer to the mechanical-man, he lost all his humanity. He spends his days and nights working on progressing his scientific theories, usually without stopping, He works without empathy to his underlings. That is not to say he is a bad person. He works to take the world into the future.

oh nice :D , this isn't going to be an easy competition by any means :P , the only thing i could think of would be to do something with the back but either way i'm going to have to go and improve mine some more :P

Yeah, his back is plain. I'm thinking about maybe adding a tank to the back, to provide the steam-power.

I had to do something similar as i got to the end of the skin and it struck me, 'where is the steam coming from?' :P hence the thing i have on my guys back and the vents on the feet.

I think you did great on your skin though, definitely going to be a competitor. The judges would be crazy otherwise.

Beleive me when i say your definetly in with a shout as there is a lot of okay skins and some where it's hard to see if it is steampunk :P . It's still early days though and we both have plenty of time to get them even better ^^

Well thanks. I need to get better with cloths and shading. I think I'm going to deepen his back story too. Last contest I had like a 2 line back story, and it didn't get my skin anywhere. (Werespider was my Halloween skin)
