I always feel that the skin you painted is darker than the reference prototype.

hmm? in terms of the colours? in which case thats because i take the original colours overlay them with another (in this case blue) then shade them. a lot of people use the original colours as their mid tones and add highlights and shadows but i tend to use the original colours as my highlights therefore the entire skin seems darker

i hope thats what u meant?

But the colour of the epidermis and the white on the clothing are obviously not the same colour as the reference prototype, the epidermis of your skin is more cyan, while the prototype is more orange-red. Do you need me to help you optimize this skin of yours?
