The air and sea swept through my hair as I mopped the deck. Sails flying high, the captain at wheel, we headed for our next treasure looting. The sea was at calm as waters sprayed onboard, with a few little fishes flopping on deck. Other pirates roamed the deck and readied the cannons as a ship came into view. An enemy flag swaying high on the ship's crow's nest. "Enemy ahead!" A pirate fellow yelled. I dropped my mop and readied my cannon, full of gunpowder and a heavy cannonball.
The enemy ship came closer and soon, we were side by side. We fired our cannnons and both ships exploded. Holes were at the sides and it started to sink. As explosions continued, one hit nearby me. It launched me through the heat and smoke and into the waters below. I submerged and quickly swam up for air. My ship was long gone as I saw pirates go overboard. As our battle went on, a storm had formed and soon I was under the water, again.
I lay unconscious on a sandy coast with something sticking on my head. I find it as an octopus that found its new home as it wrapped around my head, forming a beard. I jumped up and decided to travel on raft. I looked around for sticks and gathered my best and ripped off some vines as tree flinged back at me. Soon, I had a raft and I was off at sea. But that soon ended, as a splash swallowed me. And soon, again, I was up on shore. But a different land.
I found myself on a whale and took it as my ship. I traveled long with it and found me a sword and some fish. I guess this is how it'll go for the ages that will past. And as it does, I shall be known of the seas. As OctoBeard.
