This is Mildred Hubble. She is the main character in the book, TV series and film called Worst Witch. She enrolls into Miss Cackle's Academy as a witch from a non witch family, something her arch nemesis Ethel Hallow (who is from a witch family, a very famous one in fact) throws in her face constantly. The uniform is shown above and the sash is a different colour for each year group (in the TV series). Mildred is known for wearing her hair in 2 untidy plaits and never doing up her boot laces, both of which i have tried my best to replicate here. Mildred finds it difficult to learn the spells and potions at the academy and is always getting into trouble. Thus earning her reputation as the worst witch in the entire school. However, she saves the day often. Proving, as Miss Cackle says herself, that sometimes the worst witch in the school is also the best :)
