Was working on a pixel piece at the time which contains a few of these colours and figured i'd have a go at making a skin with them (changed some of the colours for the skin). As for picking the colours i'm not too sure, just went with what I thought looked good a long with basic colour theory but yeah.

The contrast doesn't seem very balanced, idk if that was the intention. The green and yellow are really close, as are the brown and purple. not blaming you though since you're colorblind, could also just be a personal preference of mine

Did you use the colors from your avatar to make the skin, or the reverse?

reverse. The original avatar had a different palette. However the palette for the skin contains colours that I had previously used on a piece. Though most of the colours on this skin were just picked at the time of making.
