The problem with the sculpted look is that the side views don't work out well with the front and back views. In the original version of the frog I had side views that showed the flippers in the same orientation as the front and back views. This seemed clumsy - so I decided to change the side views (as well as top and bottom views) to reflect more what a frog would look like from the side. The skin won't look good viewed from corners but there is no good solution without doing away with the sculpted look which is what I wanted for this competition. I also adjusted the bottom lip.

I didn't like the bottom of the feet being white so I made them shades of blue - I like to think of the frog either running across the water or dripping water as he moves.
