Hello crafters , here is my skin entry for the RPG Adventures Character skin Contest , I introduce you to Amylie Maze "Iron hands" .
World / universe :



She belong to a Rpg universe I fully created (rules included) and play as game master for 3 years now . This world is called " Land of the Machine God", this is a steampunk / dieselpunk / post apocalyptic / magic themed universe .


In this universe append a cataclysme , caused by a mechanical entity created by mankind , nammed the machine God , the machine god is an intelligent entity who thinked the world was done wrong , so it created a tool , a weapon to recreate the world and so did it .
It splitted the reality into multiples and the make them on again , so the new world was born , a twisted land , full of aberations , ravaged by the ancient realities technologies and monsters , as cybernetical born creatures , mechanical species , and mutants . The Machine God died in the process of world creation , this new is a failure , worst than the old one , also the creation of the new world came with another side effect , the "Deuscie" a kind of magic if we can say so , it able some peoples and creatures to manipulate the matter , or the mind . The machine God corpse have been splitten across the skies and now flies for eternity , beholding the doomed world created by it's want of peace , of perfection .


Many human organisations try to survive and progress after all , in the wastland , jungles , forest and seas of the new world , some city are built in the ruins of anciant unknown civilisations , in the corpse of gigantics robots , or simply like real town and villages in the wild . As humanity (and all the humanoïdes species) don't know what really append to the world many religions emerged , the most popular is telling that the god who created the world will come back to finish his uncomplete world and get away the sufferance and misery ...


No many knows about it but the sword used by the machine god have splitten into little fragments also , they are known as philosophal stones , little mechanical glowing crystals . If used by a human or a biological for compatible with deuscie the philosophal stone fusion with it's new host and grant him many powers ... the ingeneers of the "Market Empire" have found a way of using those stones into machines , as a nearly unlimited and super powerful source of fuel . Those stones are not dangerous by themselves but what can bring you problems are the ones who are looking for those stones , power is a potent ambition for the wicked .




Character background :




As this world is covered of the old worlds ruins many are those trying to live by exploring and selling mechanicals or deuscians artefacts ... few survive , Emylie Maze is one of those hard to kill explorers . She was born in the western region of the world , a vast pine forest which many villages , ruled by the elder consil of Movarnak , the "capital" of this land . She shows interest for the exploration very early , as she pass long time to listen to traveler stories . At the age of twenty her village is attack (as many other in this region) by the "Sthal Empire" ( A dictatorial empire leaded by Elizabeth von Liebenstein , a sadistic women master of cyborg implents science and politic . She is using philosophal stones which slows her aging as she used her first as the age of 35 , 130 years before the present .) She is the only survivor of the cyborg raid , her family got killed before her eyes by a plasma kamikaze cyborg in the most horrible way human mind can imagine ( he didn't suicide .... he took his time) . More fortunate than the others she manage to escape the village . After years of wandering and exploration she became master in the middle territories (which are arides lands , vey huge) exploration , she will become cartographer for the account of a desert lord , she was nicknamed after killing a well know fighter of this desert kingdom by fighting hands to hands after he tried to rape her in public in an inn , she used her electrical fielded gauntlet against him , melting his brain at first hit , the crowd was so impressed by her fight that peoples gived the nickname of "Iron hands" . After all this time she is still looking for taking vengeance on Sthal Empire for they're past crimes , she wont ever give up , it is what keeps her alive also , the will of see they're leaders suffer and they're empire crushed .

Character traits :



She is an intelligent , cute looking and stubborn you women , she don't take much care of other's life if her's is in game , basically she become a cold blooded killer in fight .
She have an absolute hatred for cyborgs because of her past .
She have interesst in ingeneering and ruins explorations .
Her weak points are her weak physical form , and her stubbornement , which lead here to rather get defeated in brawls and other useless fighting .



Character abilities :


Charming appearance , -5 in willpower for male ( or female , depending the characters ) when rolling a dice to oppose her .
brain teaser broker , + 10 in intelligence when rolling the dice to resolve an enigma or disable a trap .
Strong mind , + 15 in willpower when rolling a dice to resiste a persuasion or a mind control .


Equipements :

Termo protective clothing , +5 dr (damage resistance) against thermics damage sources .
Deuscian disabler googles , when looking her eyes through the googles disbale the spell casting .
Two Navaran 6 shot revolver , 1d12 damage per shot , 20 meters for optimal percision .
"The iron fists" , 1d20 damges per hit + 5 electrical damages .
"Never missing J.A.C.K" , a little lizard like robot which follow her everywhere , using a develloped technology of thermal camo , she use it for assassination .
