From the incredible director Niell Blomkamp, Elysium is an immersive action Sci-Fi that focuses on socio-economic issues to its extremes in the future.

Max De Costa, a grown man looking to move ahead of his troubled and criminal history, struggles to get by on the now overpopulated earth in the year 2154. Since he was a child, he dreamed nothing more than getting to Elysium, a large station orbiting the earth, constructed by the richest of earth's inhabitants to escape the decrepit planet. Only the elite of the elite can breath clean air, have incredible medical utilities, and live a lavish lifestyle compared to the dying and sickly earth population.

After being accidentally exposed to a lethal dose of radiation while working on a droid production line, Max De Costa returns to his ties to the criminal underworld in order to seek his only salvation, an illegal passage to Elysium. As payment for his ticket, Max must steal cerebral data from a billionaire from elysium that's temporarily keeping an eye on his company. Yet, Max is too weak to walk, and is then fitted with a third generation exo-suit that would give him the strength of a droid.

Now stronger than the average human, Max sets out to complete this mission and finds himself in a bigger, much more complicated situation. He finds the key to elysium, and has the potential to deliver medical attention to all of earth's population, but danger is only around the corner.
