Donna Noble is the former travel companion of the time lord know as "The doctor". After traveling with him for a while she was trapped in a very terrible situation she suffered an transformation. She became part time lord part human. She became incredibly intelligent but it had an cost, her mind was being consumed by her new intelligence. The Doctor had to make a choice to save her life and he erased all her memories of him from her mind and if someday she remembers him her mind would burn and she would die.
The years have passed and Donna lived her life, she got married, and received an lottery ticket as wedding gift from a friend and she won the lottery, as if he knew that ticket would be drawn. Years have passed but she still missed something, like she had something lovely and it's gone...
