The orange cat ran on all fours as fast as he could, dodging and weaving through sewer pipes, trash, and bounding over sickly water. Each time he glanced back, he could see a faint green glow and footsteps echoing after him calmly.

How is he so fast he thought? As he ran, green spectral hands began reaching out for him from beyond where the footsteps were echoing, trying to grab and swipe him to slow him down, but he's ran from his problems plenty so it wasn't too much trouble. But what was chasing him he thought?

The feline slid under a pipe and took a quick glance back at him, a pair of green eyes stared at him from afar. How is it that close? As he turned back around, his speed slammed his head straight into a pipe with a loud *PONG*

The hit knocked him unconscious but the movement kept him going a short distance down the wet brick floor until he slid off into a deeper part of the sewers. He finally awoke, with a massive headache, his first thought was what followed him, he looked about but no longer saw or heard anything.

There was no way back up, only way left was through a bigger tunnel gaping open, as he got to his paws dazed and winded, he motioned forward to the tunnel when he heard it. Foot steps, echoing down towards him, slow and calmly. As the steps grew louder, the green eyes appeared once more, the cats hairs stood on his back and he showed his fangs, "GET BACK! You'll regret cornering me"!

But soon the eyes walked into the light upon, another feline appeared from the darkness, his eyes glowing an ominous green, his suit a faint red that shimmered, gold buttons, cuffs, shoes, and a fang glinted at the cat.

The stranger tipped his hat at him and said in a familiar voice, "Hello Lars, do you remember me"? The cat shrieked in fear, "C-c-Cloud, it's you, why do you look so different"? The cat smiled his disturbing grin, revealing more sharp teeth, Cloud responded with a chuckle, "I've been given a new job"...

The cat clamored nervously, "Th-that's great! What do you do"? The cat smiled in hopes maybe Cloud has a new job offer. Cloud grinned menacingly, "Do you remember when I said I'd keep you around until I found someone to replace you"?

"What"? Cloud stuck out a paw, and pulled Lars' soul out of chest, his eyes rolled back white, mouth dropped opened, and the orange cat fell into the brown water.

Cloud chuckled and turned around and started walking away, "Ah yes, business is killing", then he whistled the tune from the film Twisted Nerve as he swaggered away...
