STORY!


Sometimes, on a dark night, you could see the outline of a figure, the red glow from afar, hear the mysterious crunch of leaves. The entire body was a pale skeleton with a glowing core/chest and eyes covered by a dark cloak. This was the Cloak Fiend, soul-eater. Nobody happens to know how this being came to be, but a terrified bystander claimed to see the being dissolve a man, along with the story below (this was a story in the dead man's perspective, it turned out to be a multi-million dollar story):


I couldn't sleep that night. I don't know why, but I have the strangest feeling that I was being watched. So I turned on the lights and opened the curtains. That was when I saw the horror - well, at least the outline of it. It was a cloaked being, as far as I could see. Terrified, I backed away from the window. The cloaked being disappeared from sight. I was relieved. But that sense of relief would only last for a couple of sentences. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a dry, cold, bony hand grabbed my shoulder and with a knife ready to slit my throat. Adrenaline rushed in my body, as I began to squirm with a fury of weak kicks in the beings skeletal hip. At least it helped free me, as the being wasn't the strongest monster around. But immediately after, it ran towards me and attacked. Instinct took over, and I attempted to jump out of my window with the risk of broken bones. I jumped out of the window fast, but that beast was faster. It grabbed me and then the real horror awaited me. It was what was behind the cowl. An indescribable, ugly skull scared the life out of me. Literally. I felt the skin on my hands and feet begin to wither away. The rest of the body awaited it's death shortly after. My skin began to grow pale as well, the world began to glow red. Sonner enough, I became the being that ate my soul.
