A Forest Elf named 'Azure' for the 'Into The Woods' skin contest.
- They had to make a decision. Azure, the little infant they carried, had a fate that was in their hands. Keep her or... into the woods? The decision was tough, though they knew they had to make a choice. They had no money to support the child, and she would most likely starve.
But - Why into the woods?
These parents lived in the village of 'Sylva', near the forest entrance, and a rumour had passed around a little while ago about a wonderful person living in the forest, who would take a child and raise it. But, this story was of course for not, as no person like that lived in the forest.
The parents decided. They would leave their only daughter - no, only child - in the woods.
Soon, Azure was left in the forest, unknown to her little infant mind. By little chance, a pack of wolves who lived in that particular forest passed by the crying infant, hungry, thirsty, probably even about to die. They made the decision the parents did not - they took her in as their own.
Though Azure grew up to be strong, independent and brave, she never learned to speak - well, not exactly. Somehow, the little infant grew the power to speak with animals of all kinds, including her new family.
Azure waited a long time for her parents to come back - waiting, waiting - she always did and always will until they do come back. But, one thing was and is certain to Azure -
She would never leave her child alone -

- The parents knew - well, thought - that their child was in safe hands. Years, months, days and hours passed until this rumour was exposed to be false. The parents realised they had left their child in the woods to die, and they remembered that every second of every day - until they couldn't take it.
They went into the forest in haste, to find if their child had survived. Left and right, fowards - backwards, eventually running into a girl who spoke nothing to them - she only smiled and ran away.
The parents went home, thinking about what they saw. Their daughter had survived! But - they wondered - how? -
Be honest, I failed with the story, didn't I? Anyway...
