About

OtterCraft is a friendly PvE, "mostly" vanilla Minecraft server started on 1/29/17. Unlike most servers, we have no land-claim system simply use the in-game /report command if you're griefed or have any issues and staff will take the appropriate action as well as roll back any damage if needed, all reports automatically alert staff whether they are on or offline. Also, All of our ranks are balanced, and go directly against hosting a pay-to-win environment. Most of our community have been around for well over a year, and we're all here to play good ol'e minecraft, and indulge in fun and friendly chat.

    Everyone here seems nice and polite. You always get a "Welcome back" or "Hello!" from someone in chat when you join. I appreciate that. The little things make life better. I am a bit irritated to find that the server is apparently resetting this week, after I just joined, but such is life I guess. Someone said this occurs about 1 time per year. I guess it's supposed to keep things in balance and everyone on a new set of gear, housing, and balancing... Though, as a server owner myself, I never found the tactic to work at bringing players back.. Usually when they found out a wipe was happening they would just go to another server and never come back...

    I'm sorry to hear you had an issue with them, They were snowflake particles for the Christmas event which is now over.

    you can connect with play.ottercraft.net using the default port, crossplay has only recently been added so is still in what I would class as its beta phase because of this you should be aware there may be some bugs. If you do come across any bugs or improvements you wish to see fixed / changed please let a member of staff know either in game or on our discord.
