The city of Edelweiss, it's the great capital of the world. In a time when beasts roamed the land, one man had an idea; to gather the greatest architects of the time and form a town of protection. At first the population was small, with only a handful of builders and other workers, but as the town grew and grew more people joined in the hope of liberation from the beasts. They soon formed a council, to discuss new ideas and how to defend themselves more efficiently.
Years pass and the founders became old, they had to find a new generation who would lead the city. A woman, called only Edelweiss had shown her potential in leadership and her ideas were bold but interesting. She became the new leader and with her, a new age. At this time the city would flourish, and more people than ever heard of the legendary city.
The beasts, now without an active supply of food had begun to diminish. Peace and prosperity came to everyone in the city of Edelweiss. But.. that peace wouldn't last long as exiled people banned from the city due to crime started a war, a war that would last only a few years. The Edelweiss's walls are high and its people determined to protect their own, they soon fought of the attacks.
Edelweiss, the leader of the city had fought and ruled with heart and mind for many years. She was beloved by the citizens and as she lied on her deathbed the population cried, they realized how Edelweiss had made the city to what it is today and decided to name it in her glory.
Today, a statue stands in the Imperial garden, beneath the statue is a gold-plated disc, and on the disc something is written. I wonder, what does it say?

- The Empress
Empresses are the ones ruling the land. By their side, and a helping hand, they have the council. When an Empress die or cannot rule any longer, a new Empress have to be found. Considering new rulers doesn't involve birthrights or titles, they can be suggested even coming from common towns or slums.
When the bell rings 5 times, the people of Edelweiss will know its Empress is deceased and all new candidates travels to the palace, here the council holds a funeral and then a feast. A table is prepared and on it random objects are placed, one of the objects belonged to the late Empress and whoever can find it will be the new ruler. They say a part of the previous Empress still resides in their most dear object.
Since the rule of Edelweiss, there have been 12 Empresses: Priscilla, Sophia, Undine, Flora, Teresa, Helen, Luciela, Elda, Ophelia, Violet, Katea and Beth.
- The Council
The council, here every of the 9 members are allowed to voice their opinion after the Empress. They are the core foundation for running every part of the lands.
- Heroes
In the almost thousand years since Edelweiss's rule, there have been many heroes and their stories have become legend. You can find their legacy's in the museum.
- Grandad Tinker
The Brain behind all the economic power held by Edelweiss.He is the inventor of most of the mechanical marvels which are traded with other parts of the world, credited for the creation of the Airship, the Train, the Steamship and countless other machines
